The coconuts for our virgin coconut oil are grown in the Golden Triangle of Sri Lanka, the famous Coconut Triangle west of the island of small cooperatives. The ripe nuts are handpicked harvested, freed by peeling of the brown skin and then washed and grated. By subsequent presses of the shredded flesh in our own manufacturing facilities, we win this delicious, nutritious, highly digestible, sweetish aromatic oil whose health qualities are highly praised in Sri Lanka. Virgin coconut oil is simply delicious for baking, roasting, frying, on bread, in spreads and sauces and, of course, for authentic Asian stir-fries and South Indian curries. For preparation, fry vegetables and spices briefly in coconut oil according to the recipe and enjoy the exotic aroma.
