Nigella Oil

Black Seed Oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the Castor seed. It has been used as a laxative and purgative since antiquity.

Castor Oil was mentioned by the ancient Greek historian Herodotus, and beans from the Castor plant have been found in Egyptian tombs.

Castor Oils laxative effect stems from its ability to prevent absorption of liquids from the intestinal tract.
